Stretch & Sauna: Saturday Session

Service Description

A few miles from Stockbridge, nestled in a private woodland is a magical event space - The Woodland Sauna. The lovely Jo of Joga and partner Jon have created this unique space. The Woodland Sauna itself has a sauna, Urban Ice Tribe baths, a cold shower and woodland walks with stunning views and little surprises along the way. The session will include a yoga practice with me, Polly, of Yoga with Polly to energise and uplift. This will be done in the outside event space, an event tent nestled in the middle of private woodland. All levels of ability are welcome to yoga, prior experience not necessary. The morning will continue with options to use the warming sauna and potentially engage in contrast therapy with the cold shower/cold water baths. There will be time allocated for a wander or relax around the woodland space if you wish. All with the purpose of leaving you in a state of contentment; relaxed, refreshed and energised. Rough timings: 9:30am - Yoga practice 10:40am - Sauna Sesh and Woodland Relax (contrast therapy sessions are normally an hour, leaving you 50 mins to change and utilise the woodland space) 12:30 - Session ends *I often book a table at Meadow Stockbridge for lunch after for anyone who would like to join. This is additional to event fee but a nice chance to extend the day of you wish! I suggest using what three words to find the venue as the post code will not bring you directly to the space. The entrance to the woodland on foot is clear from there. There are changing facilities e.g. a shepherds hut to change in and a compost loo.
